Rachel Morrison

Rachel Morrison is a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and dancer passionately devoted to helping people move well and improve their quality of life by feeling healthy and vibrant. She practices and teaches yoga as an integrated process of self discovery to inspire deeper connection to ourselves and our world. She’s practiced on and off for over 10 years, has been teaching since 2016, and offers students a fluid Vinyasa experience focused on alignment and awareness. Rachel seeks to empower her clients to embrace healthy relationships with their bodies in order to feel more fully alive.

Rachel is a an RYT 200 Vinyasa Instructor, a Certified Personal Trainer with NASM, a Certified Fitness Nutritional Specialist, Functional Movement Screen Professional, and a Certified TRX Suspension Training Instructor. She has 25 years of dance experience in addition to her fitness training, and earned her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Modern Dance from Washington University in St. Louis.

Her passion for both training and yoga are rooted in a love of movement and the power of nurturing the mind-body connection to more fully realize our human experience. She believes in providing challenges that encourage stepping out of one’s comfort zone while simultaneously creating an environment of acceptance and non-judgement. She approaches all instruction with a creative spirit.  Rachel’s relationship with movement and physical practices has always been at the root of her identity and yoga became the vehicle she was seeking to balance and bind her experiences together with a spiritual grounding. She has found in yoga the peace she now seeks to create for others and hopes to share with her students the beautiful reward of balancing effort with acceptance, and fire with surrender, while maintaining a rigorous alignment focused practice.
