My Philosophy

Dr. Jones meticulously created a warm and soothing therapeutic environment, designed to ease the nerves of starting psychotherapy. He is an incredibly warm and empathic psychologist who tailors his approach to the unique needs of each individual client. With a diverse training background, Dr. Jones draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques to optimize results for his clients. He is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and many others, including Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). His expertise in KAP allows him to offer cutting-edge, evidence-based treatment for clients seeking alternative approaches to mental health care, particularly for those dealing with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, and anxiety.

While psychotherapy can be serious at times, Dr. Jones believes in the importance of laughter and often incorporates humor into his sessions. He is also a firm believer in the therapeutic power of pets, and his therapy dog, Yogi BooBoo the Corgi, is a comforting presence in all his sessions. As an advocate of holistic treatment, Dr. Jones may recommend clients utilize a wide array of wellness practices, including KAP, to maximize their potential while in treatment.
